Shashi Kallada conducted two days IMDG Code Training from 18th to 19th January 2016 at Indian Institute of Packaging’s Delhi center.

Training focused on General Awareness / Familiarization and function specific to Part 6 of IMDG Code – Provisions for the construction and testing of packagings” of IMDG Code 37th Amendment

The Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) is a national apex body which was set up in 1966 by the packaging and allied industries and the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, with the specific objective of improving the packaging standards in the country. IIP is the competent authority under IMDG Code for United Nation Performance Testing of packages intended to carry dangerous goods by Sea.

IIP, India has regional centers at Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and is head quartered at Mumbai.
